What Does a Civil Celebrant Do?

As a Registered Civil Marriage Celebrant, professionally trained and accredited by the Academy of Celebrancy Australia, I conduct tailor-made ceremonies for people of all faiths, spiritual beliefs and those of  you who can not decide!

I prepare and lodge all legal documents required,  help design your ceremony, rehearse and perform the ceremony on the day. A ceremony is a powerful way to honour and integrate a life-transition of any kind, provided that ceremony is charged with meaning for those involved. So I work closely with you in its creation.

I will help you create a ceremony that reflects the beliefs and traditions you find important. I will work with you to make your ceremony distinctly your own, whatever the setting - the beach, a restaurant, your home or any other venue of your choice.

I understand that planning a wedding means a "to do" list a mile long. If you want to write your own vows, I can help; if you wish to design the ceremony from start to finish, I can help; or by providing me with information about yourselves and what you believe, I will design a ceremony just for you.
